His Excellency President Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Dr. Adanna Steinacker as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Women’s Health.
The appointment takes effect from 14th November, 2024 and is in accordance with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc) Act 2008 as amended.
Until her appointment, Dr. Steinacker has worked with the United Nations, Google, the Gates Foundation, YouTube, and Goals House focusing on initiatives that prioritise women’s health and prosperity.
Mr. President charges the new appointee to work closely with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs as well as the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare to use her wealth of experience to champion policies, programs, and initiatives that will improve the health and well-being of women across the country.
