<p>Malam Shehu joined the Federal Civil Service in 1989 as Level 08 &nbsp;Officer, and rose through the ranks to the level of a Director, GL 17 in &nbsp;January, 2020. During the course of his career, he served in various &nbsp;Ministries, Departments and Agencies including Ministry of Federal &nbsp;Capital Territory, Office of the Head of Civil Service of the &nbsp;Federation, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and &nbsp;Ministry of Petroleum Resources.</p>

<p>He attended several developmental courses and trainings within and &nbsp;outside Nigeria in Institutions such as the Administrative Staff College &nbsp;of Nigeria, Centre for Management Development, Kaduna Business School, &nbsp;Senior Executive Course 34 at National Institute for Policy and &nbsp;Strategic Study, Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, &nbsp;United State of America, International Centre for Entrepreneurship &nbsp;Development, Gujarat, India, and Acadia Centre for Small Business &nbsp;Institute, Canada.</p>

<p>He is also a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management.</p>

<p>Malam Shehu is a recipient of Award for Excellent Achievements from &nbsp;the Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical &nbsp;and Recreational Services Employees (Petroleum and Gas Branch) and the &nbsp;Award on Commitment to work during the Covid-19 Pandemic Lockdown in &nbsp;Commemorations of the African Public Service Day Celebration.</p>
